    Can't see him going to rangers he is from Cork. I expect bids to come in for him in January and he will only have 6 months left on his contract so it may test our resolve. Or maybe Connor likes been the captin and our star man and wants to stay who knows.

    All he has to do is look at Mawson as an example. Not even in the starting 18 today, will affect his development.
    Conor's first season in the championship, playing well, captain, first name on the team sheet. He moves in January it will hold back his development half way through the season.

    I agree Redrum, No way Rangers. Not a big enough name for Celtic who live in their own world of dreaming of being a European power. Aston Villa a club in decline. Why would he want a relegation fight?

    gonna be an interesting window that one i think. i imagine any transfer fee we get offered will be peanuts, considering his contract position, and we're in this rare position where we need to just take the money. If a PL bid did come in though, would Conor be likely push for it? You couldn't blame him if he did.

    If it's peanuts we won't allow other clubs to approach him and allow the contract to expire .
    That may not get the interested club a look in at end of season when offers to him could be bountifull, so a meaningful offer could be possible in Jan.
