A old medium will definitely be bigger than a new medium!

If I weren't a fat batard I'd be purchasing the tracksuit top...

I was tempted till I saw your post about them not being the same quality as the original

    About printing?

I was referring to squad numbers etc, not the sponsors etc.

Is the sponsor the same s the original? After I read your post I had a look at the photos and it looks flatter like a modern style, the original was a kind of felt or bubble wasn't it?

I didn't have the original so can't really comment. I think I had the goalkeeper top from that season which was printed on.

The one from the season before and the season after iirc was part of the fabric, which this remake also appears to be like.

The badge looks like a proper badge which is sewn/glued on which I don't think the original was.

Again I'm unsure as I never had the outfield kits from that season. But I'm sure someone will correct me :)

I'm probably wrong and have got the wrong season but I think the originals badge was a full badge sewn on and had a kind of felt background to it. The new one looks more like it's the detail sewn directly onto the shirt without the background. The sponsor again I'm sure was embossed but I've probably got the wrong year and can't be arsed to climb the 12 stairs to my bedroom to check it #lazy

I wish they'd redo the kits from the following year, the white and green away kit was the best we've had in my opinion

I think you're right with the badge, purely based on a picture I've just seen of the away strip.

Genuinely have no idea in regards to the sponsor, but it does appear to be printed 'plasticy' material on these remakes.

I've still got Paul Wilkinson's blue one, not yet got it framed or signed.

Don't have the same supply issues as the home and away shirts (which have a 16 week lead time as they are custom and come from Turkey)

Which kind of makes a mockery of the whole 'we ran out because we ordered in September when we were ****' excuse. If they had ordered the shirts the day we confirmed that we were in the play off final we would have had that batch of kits in the club shop today.

The original shirts were ordered in October last year. Next years will be chosen and ordered in the next few weeks. A further order was placed when we got in the playoff final which arrived in July. We sold 2,000 in may alone. We've sold more shirts than ever before (in recent time at least). Getting on towards 6,500

#LikesOfBarnsley is funny and should be put on a t shirt. Put 5-6 designs somewhere for fan feedback, take in what's said and redesign the options and then have a final poll to sell them tenner a pop.

Considered selling my original (with all the right badges on it) given all this renewed interest, not worn it for 20yrs as didnt seem right wearing a Prem shirt when we aint there.
Got in last night, changed my mind, it still fits and it just might be coming out next season!
