If they have season tickets for those particular seats, I just wouldn't replace them.

Couldn't agree more. They are marked as purchased season tickets on the website.

We have to, FA regs. Otherwise, I'd say the same.

In that case then, I'd be issuing bans. Criminal damage at the end of the day.

Nah, tar the heads and impale on spikes on the top of the wall at the back of the stand. Show we mean business. Alternatively keep splashing out cash to replace the seats they've broken so they can break them again next game.

Teenagers must weigh more these days compared to when i was a lad. Or the seats have given up with age...

Request the money for the damage and if they refuse ban them. Simple

Same dickheads that do this at away matches presumably, been to every match last season and there were a fair few incidents of seats being ripped out, if i remember correctly at Walsall (in league), incident at ipswich on first day of season with a seat back being snapped off, would have been lots damaged at wembley if the seats there weren't so tough :D as others have said I really do wish the club would do something about it. I like to stand at away matches, like to have a sing at the back, so I can recognise most of the idiots who do stuff like this - coincidentally its the same lot who bring pyro. Generating an atmosphere is one thing but there's just no place for stuff like this in football. Hence why I like travelling far to watch us play, don't tend to get this sort of stuff when we're playing down south.

If they are season ticket holders then that is sufficient to withdraw the season ticket and ban them.

Don't get it down south because you have CCTV up your backside 24/7 in places like London and they treat fans like terrorists (Charlton). Northern life is more relaxed. But the problem is up here is when one isolated incident happens everyone gets tarred with the same brush (Chesterfield).

Shouldn't stewards be intervening at the time? Nothing to show in that picture that it is the people who have paid for the seats who have damaged them. If we have Cctv of the incident then we should ban and prosecute if we don't we should look at our stewarding.

Wallsall away I remember a player been down injured when we were 3.1 ip in second half I was in the left hand side of the away end. But I saw a seat thrown from the opposite side of the stand it landed pitch side and a steward picked it up. Not good scenes but to do this at home is ridiculous little *****s make them pay for it with their pocket money and then ban em. Can't call them selves reds doing **** like that. Your right about wembley too they was some young ens infront of me at the end as all throughout the game stood on the back of the chair for a good 20 mins me n Mrs was just waiting for the chair to snap but it held firm.

Yep thats exactly what I remember. Only I was in the top right of the away end, fairly close to where the seat was thrown from, right near to the lad who brought that hamster. Seen it loads of times but it still does always make me feel a bit shocked whenever someone damages seats, or whatever, it just shows a total lack of respect. Agree with you completely, ban the lot of them, what they bring in noise to an away game is irrelevant when they're costing the club money to replace seats they trash and potentially put off people attending.

You have to prove it was the individuals who have the seats that did the damage. May be stewards should have cameras so they can catch the culprits.

That's easy to prove. The person with the seat used their season ticket to access the game. That can be easily proved. Now how can somebody else smash up their seat while they are sat in it?

Those in the top right of the ponty end don't sit down. While I suspect it's probably fair to lump them together as all condoning this sort of stuff, the crucial thing is that it might not be. I stand up at the back of the stand at away games but I certainly don't smash seats up or let off pyro. For all we know there could be some STHs that are completely innocent and just happen to have their ST there.

They ARE NOT season ticket holders or if they are they are not allocated those particular seats.

I requested a season ticket in that section a few years ago and was told they are not available for purchase. That section is blocked out in the same way as half of West stand and bottom section of East near the away end
