How does this ticket work with other clubs? do you know which clubs operate it and l'll take a look? its something that would interest me, l'm only bothered about attending certain games these days, nothing to do with finances, only certain games appeal to me.

Ignore that l've googled, they work as l thought. It would sell more than the half season tickets at Oakwell l would have thought.

I wouldn't bother wasting your time mate, ticket issues has been raised hundreds of times and they continue to ignore it.

 

That's my experience as well, except I saw the size of queue and gave up before starting.

I'm buying for three people, I want to spend the money but I'm not prepared to queue for 20 mins to do so.

Spend some money on more server sand you'll get more back.

Oh and if they served proper beer and pork pies they'd have so much money they wouldn't know what to do with it, instead I go elsewhere before the match and don't bother drinking beer at half time.

No business sense at all for supposed business people.

 

Never understood why we don't sell pork pies. So simple to sell and they would be a big seller. Cut a deal with a local butcher for X amount for an home game and i'm sure they would sell out and it be profitable both to the catering company and the local business.

 

It's a no brainer for me, I find it very difficult to resist a pork pie, impossible to resist if they are still warm.

 

Don't even have to be warm if they mark them at two quid each for a good size (still more expensive than a butchers but putting mark up into account) as they would fly out. Any left over can go back to the butchers or be used somewhere else so waste doesn't come into it if they don't all sell. Have a large container for a big scoop of mushy peas and you can charge another quid.

Takeaway burger/kebab container of pork pie and mushy peas three quid a pop. Beats nearly four quid for a lukewarm cheeseburger where the cheese hasn't even melted onto the burger.

 

I think I missed the memo on pork pies somehow. They're not something I would ever consider buying, it just wouldn't occur to me to even think of one. I'd pick a quarter of one up at a party if they are being served I guess along with whatever else was there but I can't say I'd notice or care if there weren't any.

 

To be fair though you 're a female woman and so they're not really meant for you.

No, a good pork pie is a man's realm, one of the few left to us. You've had everything else made asexual or metrosexual or even downright lesbian (dungarees) but we still have a pint of dirty bitter, pork pies and pork scratchings to live for.

Well, I just assumed they were male from their appearance. I didn't conduct any further investigations into the matter.....

I also love pork pies, so I suppose that makes me a male man.
