Gods sake don't see why we signed him. Pray that if he goes there he does really well and comes back and gets a chance with us.
How much did we pay for Moncur - wasnt it supposed to be around £500k? Looking like a waste of money...
He's on a 3 year deal. Even if he doesn't feature much this season he's still got plenty of time to prove his worth Don't even think we'd let him go because he may be needed if we have injuries
Can't see it given how few centre midfielders we have at the moment. Hourihane Scowen Moncur. Some might say Moncur isn't even a proper CM, so unless we're bringing a couple in.....
No.. but they'll be looking at attitude while not playing. Hecky sez that the players on the fringe should be the hardest working at the club, trying to get a place.. Lee now looks like Dale Jennings
There are different ways to develop players with loans out being one. He is on a 3 year contract so there is plenty of time for him to develop into a top player with us. MK Dons did quite well with Dele Alli. Maybe the club know exactly but they are doing. I also can't understand the criticism of Elliott Lee - he's only been with us for 5 mins FFS. Some people are very hard to please.
I can only imagine Moncur has been signed to replace Conor when he eventually goes. We turned Conor from a similar player to Moncur into what he is now. Hopefully we're in the process of doing the same to Moncur. I don't think that process can happen if he's out on loan somewhere else though, he needs to be on the training ground here every day.
Makes sense. Year one, improve him through training and a loan move. Season two, he replaces Connor. Season three, we all panic that's he out of contract at the end of the season and is probably going for free to Bristol city / Leeds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dunt be daft. Hard pushed to force the two lads in the middle out of a starting place. He's plenty of time to become a great player.
We would get noahwhere near what we paid for him if we sold him. He's one of our men just getting some loan time.
