Unless we break the bank, I can't see this one coming off.

I can't see Morsy being one of the big earners he's only had league one contracts so far in his career.

Bigger earner than any of ours I'd suggest.

    Who is Morsy?

Sorry, don't know anything about football. Or anything else really.

In this particular instance 'Morsy' isn't a *******isation of his surname eg 'Giggsy', 'Smithy' 'Jonesy'.

Instead it is erstwhile Chesterfield midfielder Sam Morsy, now at Wigan.

Young central midfielder, did well at Chesterfield & got a move to Wigan but couldn't force his way into their side.

Seems a strange move for him because if he's unhappy bench warming at Wigan he's probably going to have to do the same for us .

He was in a group of a dozen players or so who really impressed me last season in L1. Maybe just hasn't settled at Wigan, it happens. Would love to sign him.

Chesterfield fans saw him as the one player they wanted to keep hold of last summer, and to their credit, they did till January. Young central midfield player. Don't recall seeing him play, but I do recall Chesterfield fans suggesting that he pulled the strings in their midfield when they bet us away last season.

He's exactly the sort of signing I'd a prove of considering our current recruitment plan. It has me excited in the same way I was when I heard we were linked with Bradshaw and Moncur. I just fear that with him coming from Wigan as opposed to Chesterfield, they may make us pay over the odds for him.

I just can't see this one happening, but would be delighted if it did.

I'm all for us signing Morsey. But on loan? So if he performs well for us Wigan take him back. Hope it's with view to permanent

Well, with Sessi being out for the season, the pressing need for a replacement in his mould is plain for all to see, so Morsy would be an ideal signing.
