    Something happened a year or two back - the club hasn't really said who or what it was - but whoever is responsible for targeting these young players and players from lower leagues is an absolute GENIUS
    The changes coincide with PC getting more involved so I would like to think him and Maurice had a big hand in this

    Compare Barnsley strategy to our neighbours - other teams struggling when we seem to have a wealth of talent that hasn't cost much

    no official press release, but the clubs talked about nowt else since the relegation to league one

    Its been a thing that we've been doing since LJ came in, there hasn't been an official press release it's just been stated many times over the last 18 month/2 years thats how the club will try and function from now on

    You are all spouting this lot - but not one of you have posted a link to say this is when it happened this is why it happened and this is the plan for the future
    I've heard all the bits and pieces that yer all yacking on about - but somewhere along the line there was some big decisions made - is there proof of this?

    What do you not understand about it has been discussed numerous times by different people around the club. There was no statement it's just been common knowledge for quite abit. There was a big board meeting about the change in strategy when we appointed LJ and we'd already slowly started to implement it when we'd been relegated. There is no overarching statement because to alert every other club to our recruitment strategy would be stupid.

    Yes - I know this - what I'm saying here is what plan is in place and WHO is it that's carrying out the plan?
    Because whoever it is is doing a fantastic job
    It can't be Hecky and the back room lads because they'll be managing the current squad
    And so it goes on with another great find from QPR that again hasn't cost much and only 20 years old
    I'd like to know more on how these targets are found, what they are looking for and the process of getting them to the club
    Or am I asking too much here - is it a trade secret
