After Roberts goal the Fan who ran towards him faces a 5 year ban Does the sam apply to that Kid who ran on after Kents Goal? Ive seen a few people saying it should be same rules even though he is only a kid.
See my report mentioning the kid at the fourth goal. It's not like he got carried away and just hopped over the wall to join in. He ran from behind the goal so it's clear to me he was seeking attention. He managed to get on the television pictures so job done. He was lucky the stewards were lenient and let him back into the crowd.
I think the fa/police should grow the **** up. A kid going bonkers over one of his heroes goals, the monster. How many years ban did all the millwall fans get for the semi final against Bradford when one of them touched the ball in play. The fa are a weak joke of an organisation
Forget those particular fans, the problem lies with our Stewards. They are woeful, how many times this past year has it happened? Sent from my iPhone
If one rule fits all I guess we are banning the handicapped lad in the ESL towards the Ponte who entertains from time to time going on the gravel track as an unofficial ball boy
To be fair though it's hard to stop someone who is determined to get on. The lad I mentioned sprinted past one steward and was in the thick of the players before anyone noticed him and dragged him out. Like I said, attention seeker. Not criminal, just stupid.
He's just showing up our official ball boys who are a waste of space. How many time do players have to step over the hoardings to get the ball?
Do they really get paid to keep grown men back. There's thousands in the Ponte and a row of 15 stewards max, if someone wants to get on they're going to. As for kids getting on, would the parents be up in arms if a complete stranger laid their hands on their little darling? Pretty sure they would. The solution lies in imposing strict punishments. The little kid was looked after by Ryan and Marley if you look closely. I don't like to see people banned for getting a bit over-excited... Get some work out of em though. Fed up of me pumps getting so blummin mucky after a drop of rain at Oakwell. Get scrubbing them steps young un. Then fetch some sugar for west stand caf, as lasses theer can't be arsed...
Top boy he is. Loves it. First steward that tries to chuck him out will be last. Half the stand would be in uproar.
I think we should offer him a job as ball boy. He's 10x better than the ones we have. If a fan has time to get out of his seat and retrieve the ball multiple times a match then why can't our ball boys when that is what they are there for.
Because they are too busy on Snapchat. The first thing the club should do is ban ball boys from having mobile phones at pitch side. By the way have you noticed that they return for the second half about 5 minutes after we've kicked off?
If you look at the highlights again the kid slips as he runs towards Kent. That could have been nasty for Kent if the lad had hit him with any force in a bad area.
That's true but he would have been unlucky to get an injury like that. What concerns me most about those celebrations is the way they pile on top of each other or jump on each others backs. One of these days someone will get hurt but footballers don't think about things like that. Like these ridiculous knee slides. It damages the pitch and they risk a serious knee injury. It's happened before in cricket - Simon Jones slid on his knees trying to get to a ball and one of them dug in the surface and shattered his knee. He hardly played again.
