    Haven't read owt.

Train back up to Leeds, bus to Headingley, 3 pints & gourmet burger & now I have my jazz slippers, a bottle of rioja reserva & a warm glow.

    So...

First half a bit poor & our lack of pace up front was evident.
Given 2 of our back four had enforced changes we looked solid though.

Two slightly fortunate goals in second half changed the game & we destroyed our rivals & danced & sang & saw them leave with their pants down.

MacDonald did great, only twice looked like a rabbit in the headlights.

We DO really need at least 3 players though, as we won't play a toothless team like Rotherham for a bit.

Holding midfield - I thought Sissi was gonna be that guy. We need to be able to close games down.
Hourihane & Scowen put in some amazing tackles today, but they are not "sit in front of the CB pairing & shut the game out" players.

Left back - need cover for White, who I would have possibly given MOM to, although could not argue vs Roberts, who as ever was immense. Also thought Yiadom was too, although will be tested harder defensively in future games.

    Experienced CB.

if Payne has a serious injury, add a striker who has a physical presence.

    Great to have 9 points.

    Thank you Hecky.

    Thank you Patrick Cryne.

    Thank you BFC.

Clarke / Hunter days are streaming back.

    Peace.

Yep we did get 2 sort of fortunate goals to put us in front

And we do need cover in a few areas.

Who would you chuck out of the first team?

Maybe a greater presence up front, and an Alfie replacement (not ruling out Big Mac).

No one at the moment, but the squad is threadbare & given our financial situation I'm pointing out 4 areas that need cover / competition.

How impressive is Scowen running forward in the second half of games, a drop of his shoulder and he glides past people.

I wouldn't disagree John but how curious that after a 4-0 we are singing the praises of defenders!

I think we had ten men of the match to be honest. You have to leave Davies out because he was just plain lazy :D
