Davies 8 - Confidence is growing after a shaky start. Looked solid in all league home games and distribution wise he was on top of his game today. Yiadom 8 - Solid defensively and good going forward. Chipped in with a perfect assist to Bradshaw. Roberts 10 - Leader at the back. Best game for BFC so far and he's had some good ones. Gets a goal aswell. MacDonald 8 - Very easy to get carried away with his performance. I probably counted 4-5 mistakes but there's something to work with for sure. CB still very much needed. White 9 - Getting better and better. Had he scored at the end he was a solid 9 so I'll I've him it anyway. Hammill 8 - Still not fully at it but he's just Hammill. Great for him to get off the mark. Hourihane 8.5 - Captain fantastic. Another assist and some great tackles. Getting shots off every game again too. Scowen 8.5 - Typical Scowen performance. Dangerous on the break too. Kent 8 - Similar game to Hammill. Sometimes brilliant and some times tries doing to much. Great goal. Winnall 7 - Good to have Sam back. Should have scored early on. Watkins 7.5 - Never really looked like scoring but works so hard upfront. Never gives defenders a minutes peace. Bradshaw 7 - Icing on the cake with him getting off the mark. Lee - won't give him a rating but he looks alarmingly over weight. In the friendlies he looked like Jennings. Now he looks more like Mido. A good stone to lose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Davies 7 Yiadom 8 Roberts 9 MacDonald 7 White 8 Hammill 8 Kent 8 Hourihane 8 Scowen 8 Watkins 7 Winnall 6
I think you will find that Maradonna was a bit chunky. It takes all sorts (though Lee I am informed doesn't eat them). Winnall looked off the pace, perhaps understandably. But then he often does.
Too harsh on Lee Lol but I'd give Bradshaw a 9 because as soon as he came on he was in the game and got stuck in.
Definitely don't think anyone 'pissed it'. I think that's a strange and inaccurate term to use considering some of the performances today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's clearly tongue in cheek. He's obviously overweight it's blatant. Do you not agree? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well you seem to have a knack for drawing your own conclusions from somewhat flimsy evidence, so I'll leave you to it.
Oh btw saying someone is " a stone overweight" doesn't sound very "tongue in cheek". Just to try and help you with future posts.
He didn't "piss it" but he was absolutely everywhere and only shaded by Robbo imo. Davies - solid and efficient in what he had to do. Yiadom - liked the look of him today and lovely assist for Bradshaw. Probably our best RB performance of the season. White - would have loved him to score against the club that rejected him to cap a very good all round performance. Macdonald - given the step up and his relative fitness, I thought he did well and most importantly was getting better (eg winning more in the air) as it went on Kent - a real and constant threat but sometimes takes the wrong option, probably best when doing things instinctively, like the way he took the goal. Hammill - ditto Kent with extra fancy bits. Second half probably his best half so far. Hourihane - if there are five better Irish midfielders then they should be winning the next World Cup. Winnall - people probably won't have seen this but I thought he won more than his fair share in the air to get us going and got into at least two good scoring positions. Good return from Sam and he'll get better. Watkins - Is he powered by Duracell? Bradshaw - Busy and took his goal well, knew he'd score once we played a League one standard team Lee - Not on long enough to judge football-wise really but he's undeniably 'chunky'
A bit over the top with some of the ratings there. It wasn't the quality of match for anyone to score a 9 in let alone 10. Roberts was pretty good. So I'd score him an above average 8.
They all played well, Roberrts edging the MOM over Scowen, Watkins, Kent , Yiadom for me ( I that order).
