If a Premier League Club comes calling though mate and offers him 20k a week for instance, he'll be off, irrespective of his connections to the club. It might stop him from going to the likes of Wolves or Ipswich for instance but the pull of a Prem Club would be too hard to turn down.

i dont think he would go anywhere - even if a prem team did come in for him. Hes living the dream right now. BFC fan, managing us in such a good time - the future is bright and he could become a Barnsley legend - if he isnt one already. Hes already said hes not here to fill out his CV - he wants to be manager of Barnsley.
He works his heckingbottom off for us and expects the same of the players too. His work ethic and dedication are admirable. His honesty and humility are to his credit.
I seriously hope that some of this money we are making legally goes back to coaches & managers in terms of bonuses. That is a way to get some loyalty & continuity. We COULD build something here. Fans need to stick with it though.
