Bit of a BBC ****-up with clubs but gist is that Bilic rates him highly.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has some nice words for 20-year-old striker Ashley Fletcher, who joined from Millwall this summer.

"Fletcher did really well last night, and he also made a really big impact against Bournemouth. He's one of the reasons we won," said Bilic.

"He makes the pitch big. He did a really good pre-season with us and scored goals against good opposition.

"He is a very bright lad and is willing to work, to train and to learn and to make sacrifice and we'll benefit from him in future."

More from West Ham boss Slaven Bilic on potential ins and outs...

"Andre Ayew is due back at the end of November, so there is no point in adding too many players in that position [forward].

"Probably one or two of the young players will go out on loan, now we are out of Europe. Martin Samuelsen and Josh Cullen have already gone. "Reece Oxford or Reece Burke - one of them will probably stay here with us and one will go out on loan."

He's 2nd choice striker at present so I think it's completely out of the question at the minute.

Whilst Oxford is the better prospect, Burke would be a better bet for us - more experience of first team football, very successful season at BCFC, can play CB & RB or LB, has already lived in the North, grew up with Moncur & Lee. A possibility but there are many other possibilities and plenty of competition for him. WHU will send him where they trust he will be developed, so that gives us a good chance if we want him.

Definition of tabloid hype of a young player that one.

Any Reece as long as it isn't Brown.
