    Not sure why. He fits the bill. He's probably a little more experienced than we seem to go for. But he's at the right age and appears to be improving all the time. He got a glowing report from the game at the weekend iirc.

    love the word 'derisory'. Only mentioned when a transfer fee is turned down. Same as 'paramount'. Only mentioned when a match is called off in winter and the safety of the players is brought into question. Have some originality...call it laughable or insufficient.

    I meant from the fact that we will shell out good money for position(s) already covered by Hammill and Kent. I would have expected us to add depth through free/cheap signings. I'd actually like him here as I thought he looked good for Chesterfield.

    I think he would be a great signing from what I have seen of him against us last season. And on YouTube clips. Plus he would give hammill and Kent some much needed comptition on the wings. And still only 21 hope it comes off.

    Really?

    Yiadom- played on the wing for Barnet most of last season.

    Lee- on the wing for Blackpool & Colchester last season

    Watkins- Primarily a winger

    Tuton & Jackson- Came on as wingers in pre-season & looked decent.

    Hammill & Kent.


    No reason why Hecky could not have brought on Yiadom or Lee on the wing at Huddersfield.

    Yiadom played mostly a rb for barnet I belive.

    Lee is he upto playing as a winger in the championship the jurys out

    Watkins best position is in a front 2 imo. (He can play as a winger though)

    I expect tuton will be loaned out to a league 1/2 team. Jackson is on a season long loan at grimsby where he is playing up front.

    We need another winger imo good competition for hammill and Kent.

    All those mentioned are not in the picture of being a winger. Yiadom is clearly being converted into a right back.

    Lee is still up for debate.

    Watkins is being used as a striker and would only play on the wing if we have injuries, Which will change once we have another winger in.

    Tuton & Jackson aren't even in the picture. Tuton isn't coming on from the bench and Jackson is loaned out for the season.

    Hammill and Kent are the only players who as of now capable of playing on the wing.

    Yiadom could still be used as a winger, he's more than capable.

    The whole squad is up for debate. If Elliot never gets a chance how will we know?

    We still have the option of say Bradshaw & Payne up top with Marley out wide.

    If things get really bad we could still fall back on those two even if they aren't in the picture right now.

    We didnt avoid naff all. We tried for ages to get him and ended up signing the raving success that is Ryan Williams when we eventually gave up. Really done well.
