Hourihane and Bradshaw not in International squads. Neither are good enough at the moment. People are really over estimating Hourihane's ability. First people think he's better than England International and Liverpool Captain Jordan Henderson and now they think he's better than premier league players and top end champ players. James McCarthy, Glenn Whelan, David Meyler, Harry Arter. These are premier league players and Jeff Hendrick's a top performing centre mid for Derby in the Championship. Needs to add a lot if he wants to break into that team.
non needed. Or it's because a manager doesn't like Barnsley. WTF. Of course, Martin O'Neil and Roy Keane will not pick players because they don't like Barnsley. Heard it all reading that.
Just have a day off from trying to call people out pal. Opinions are like arseholes. And to be fair, everyone's entitled to their own. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
It's an opinion. Based upon facts from a book written by our former chairman. I never mentioned Roy Keane I can't see why CH doesn't get a look in at least to be in and around the squad. I couldn't give a toss about Jordan Henderson.
Bradshaw isn't good enough for the Barnsley squad. HT seems to have a problem with Hourihane for some reason. Who's keeping him out of the Ireland squad?
A valid enough original point re the midfielders that have been picked though, if CH continues his current form, you would expect him to be there or there abouts in future squads. For all we know he's had a phone call that says 'keep it up lad and we will pick you.' That said, the phone call might have been 'you play for WHO? '. Either way, he's set a decent standard at the start of this season and will want to keep it up. Hopefully we will be the beneficiaries.
For someone who follows barnsley everywhere, its very strange the perverse pleasure you seem to take in slating the players that represent us. Christ knows what you would have made of the ageing strikeforce or hendrie and wilkinson
Roy Keanes an admire of Conor Hourihane. The one that took him to Ipswich and I think Hourihane said he received a good luck message from fellow Corkonian Roy Keane for one or both of the Wembley games. You make it soud like it's Primary School.
As stated in a previous thread there are premiership midfielders and experienced championship midfielders in that Ireland squad so don't buy into any great conspiracy. It's also very early in the season so unlikely that any new players would break in just yet. But nothing anyone could say could convince me that Jordan Henderson is better than Connor Hourihane. Realistically Hourihane is probably the most in form midfielder outside the Premiership. Does that mean he should be selected for Ireland no it doesn't. Would it seem realistic for him to be called up for a friendly to assess his ability to make the step up well I'd probably say yes. Ids there some grand conspiracy of course not. Bradshaw isn't in a good run of form. To be considered he would have to have a good run of form or be as good as Sam Winnall.

Roy Keane? I don't know why you have such a problem with Roy Keane. What has he ever done to you? Why do you keep bringing Roy Keane up? HT wants to forget the Roy Keane thing, why do you keep mentioning Roy Keane? Why? Why the fascination from you with Roy Keane? Erm when did you mention Roy Keane?
