Joe hart had a disastrous Euro 2016. He can't get a game in the Premiership. He has been told by Manchester City that he can leave. But Big Sam has told him "Don't worry, you'll be in the squad for the upcoming WCQ". Don't get me wrong, with his past record I'm not saying banish him for good, but I would like to see an England manager who picks people based on their current form, not just their past record and which club they play for,
He should be in the squad. We've got 3 very good goalkeepers right now in Forster, Butland & Hart. Seen as Butland's injured & Hart's out of form Forster should be 1st choice but there's no reason why Hart shouldn't be in the squad considering who the options are beyond them 3
I do agree with you. My comment was a little tongue in cheek based on Jack Butland being injured. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Nothing will change until we have a manager that is mentally tough enough to cope with pressure from the English media Let's hope that's Big Sam (who isn't that big really as I've stood at the side of him) And as what's been said on here already - we need a manager that can pick the inform players - not just those from the bigger clubs At the last European Cup I said Rooney wasn't up to it and should be dropped - I got slated on here at the time for posting that But again - proved right
Up until the game against Iceland Rooney was one of the best on the team, people's fascination with Rooney is stupid, I don't like him and I don't like the club he plays for but for England he's without argument our best player at the moment and it gets abit sad when people just slate him because they don't like him
Sam has said that he will be in the squad for the first game but he needs to sort his club future out and get games to be considered further. I think that's pretty fair.
Andy Carroll out for a few months, fully expecting, Hoof it Up, to tempt Kevin Davies out of retirement...
Hart, Rooney, Henderson and Sterling are the ones he needs to drop altogether. They are the media managers' choices. We need the best team not the media favourites.
Really think Guardiola will turn Sterling into a quality player, he's already improved him. Agree on Henderson. Don't mind Rooney been in the squad, prefer Kane & Sturridge to him so he'd only be on my bench as I don't see him as a midfielder
He's about 6' 3" isn't he? That's pretty big when stood at the side of the average bloke. I think Sam will be tough enough to deal with the FA but time will tell.
