Is it possible to have a section for people to set off flares? Is it ok in the smoking section behind the no smoking sign? Can you ask if it's possible for the catering suppliers to keep bottle tops on the bottles of pop? And cut the costs to something reasonable.
Largely equated to "We don't give a f*ck and aren't going to do anything about it!. An hours a reasonable time to get out of a car park even though it didn't take that long even when it was rammed in the prem season". Old chestnut.
Bang on. It's only time before there's a serious accident, fatality or serious incident of carpark rage. Is it negligence if your customers are constantly asking you to address a serious safety issue and you just ignore it?
He should become a proper fan and buy a season ticket and support the club financially. It's even possible to spread the cost over a large period. Never mind all this talk of flex tickets. Become a proper supporter like 10,000 other fans have done this summer.
All football prices are ridiculous. I was recently reminded how much admission was at Oakwell in the 1980s. If prices had only risen in line with inflation, they should be half the amount we are charging now.
Could you raise a point on Mr. Cryne's use of his Facebook account please. It is being increasingly used to share Club information, with a specific request that people do not repeat what is said. I would like to understand why he thinks it is acceptable to share Club information with a very select few, then expect it to remain secret from everyone else.
With respect they havent replied to the car park issue other than to say they have no intention of dealing with it. Which is why the question will keep being asked. Sent from my SM-T520 using Tapatalk
There's 10,000 fans whose work pattern and location doesn't get in the way. We aren't all that fortunate. There's several thousand more who don't want to be ripped off when they are able to go. I had a ST for 30 years up to 2012, when my job changed.
We all know that. But your gripe is with the 'ridiculous' prices the club are now charging, when they're only marginally more expensive than last season, reasonable in relation to other teams in the league, and for what should be an improved product on the pitch. I know you feel passionately about this subject, but you can't just throw extreme words around that don't paint a realistic picture.
Is that recently? I know that response was given when the lift went up to the concourse. I've seen wheelchairs etc in the exec when I had a season ticket in there. I haven't had one in there for 3 seasons though when we started doing Redfearn's bar.
Not sure he wants it to remain a secret. He just doens't want it posting online for anyone to pick up. That doesn't refer to other Barnsley fans, just people in the wider media/football world (in my opinion). Makes sense. More often than not he's sharing his own opinion, not club information.
Can I just make it clear that there are two separate issues here relating to the car park? One is the time it takes to exit and the second is about lighting (both in the car park and the corner of the South/East stand). I just wanted to be sure that these are not being treated as the same problem and an answer about the traffic management company and/or which gates it is safe to open (which we were given last time) still doesn't address the lighting issue which is causing a huge safety problem. Edit: I have just found the reply from last time which was as follows: I'm just wondering what the cost would be to the club if someone was injured and it was brought up that this issue was mentioned to the club on numerous occassions and their response was that they considered fan's safety to be 'cost prohibitive'.
Like Gally, I've seen people in wheelchairs on several occasions in the Legends Suite when my season ticket was in there. I've also seen people in wheelchairs ascending and descending in the lift. However, I can't comment on the last 2 seasons as I've not been in, so it's possible the policy could have changed.
I've said ALL football prices are ridiculous. ALL includes Barnsley. Some are just more ridiculous than the rest. I haven't just come to that conclusion, I've thought the same for years. I've also explained why I think that way.
Loads use their phones for scores - more and more people are using betting apps as well. Get wi fi on trains, buses, coffee shops so why not Oakwell
