1st: League 1 playoff semi final. An epic turnaround to overcome the 1st leg defeat. Brilliant night.

2nd: Survival day with Flitcroft. Simply a perfect day, will never forget it.

3rd: 5-0 defeat. Nasty scenes at the end with Dawson & Shea. Disgraceful all round that day.

4th: Finally pull off the giant throw after 50 million attempts only to lose to the last kick of the game.

It's never boring at that ground.

I'd say generally it is boring because our record there is so bad. I remember Simon Baldery bundling an injury time winner overy the line at the away end and we had a brilliant team back then too

The play-off semi final was the last time I went to Huddersfield. I've also been 4 times and to be honest they've all been proper local derbies.

The first time I believe was in the 99/00 season. We lost in the last minute.

I didn't go again until 04/05, I believe we won 2-0. Paul Hart got a hammering that day for not playing Nardiello. Nardiello came on and scored the 2nd goal.

In the 05/06 season, Nardiello came on and got sent off again within 10 minutes. We lost 1-0 in a fiery encounter.

And then of course the play-off semi final. Which to this day, is still my favourite away day.

Oddly enough I began going to more away games in our first seasons back in the championship but haven't been to Huddersfield since. Probably because I'd started working Saturday evenings by the time they got promoted.

Not a single boring game amongst them. Although the one where Nardiello scored was a bit dull until his introduction.

The second half of that Play Off game is up there as one of the best 45 minutes I have ever witnessed.

Didn't they end our long unbeaten run of 20 odd games back in Glavin's era?

I think the away game in 2014 was one of the lowest points I can remember for years , beaten 5 -0...Brek Shea giving the fans the finger , awful atmosphere in the away end , it's hard to believe we were at such a low ebb such a short time ago.

I remember a game in the early 2000s in League 1, we lost 1-0 in an absolutely awful game. Keith Curle played for us. Walking back to my car wearing the colours 2 Town fans approached me telling me how they'd like to meet Keith Curle to flatten him etc. They went on to say how **** we were. Anyway after much banter. I told them that either 1 or both teams would be relegated that season. They were relegated and we escaped by the skin of our teeth by an Isiah Rankine late goal. Wish I could've met up with those 2 Town fans again.
