so a 50% success rate... if we maintain that then it would amass us 69 points.... last season Ipswich finished 7th on 69 points in the Championship... if we do similar then I for one will be very happy with that.
I looked at the first four games and predicted we would get one point and that was from today. We've done much better than I thought we would. I really think we'll beat Rotherham next week and that last minute goal today will be forgotten about.
We won in the 89th minute Wednesday. Lost in injury time today. If we'd drawn both we'd all probably be pretty happy - and we are actually a point better off this way. As long as we keep competing and not looking like a struggling side, I'll be happy. We are bound to lose games along the way, but we've been in every game. If we carry on in this vein, with our best finisher to come back, we'll do ok. We might lose Alfie but with his money and the stones money that can be covered. But even so, expectations shouldn't be too high, even with the stones money we're not close to being a big fish in this pond. And it's also a pond which in reality we'd no right to think we'd be in as little as six months ago, it's little short of a miracle we are. The squad and management have a relatively pressure free season in my eyes for that reason. It'd be unfair to set an expectation. If we went down I'd want no-one but Hecky at the helm. I don't think we will go down though.
Good job five minutes injury time were given so we had abit of time left to try and draw. Should have only really been four at a push.
