Coming away from portman Road away end I was hoping that we would learn our lesson away from home. I was more hopefull when the head coach said the exact same thing in post match press.

First half today, we hadn't learnt anything. Their number 10 just controls things in the first half. Our players can get close and we get deeper. Scowen and Hourihane looked like they were playing against 4. Whilst they have and espcially Hourihane deveoped their defencive side they aren't great at it and it will cost us again and again espically away from Oakwell.

Second half, better but i'm not too pleased with a few things.

I hope it's given them the hurry up with transfers. If Fletcher isn't going to be available then they really need to look at other options

So is it winnall's and Roberts's fault. We're gonna lose games Phil. Just enjoy us finally having a go away from home.

I can't enjoy losing, can't see the other team control things.

Same for any head coach. Think people are getting a bit too excited because '' he's one of our own'' and all that. For me it doesn't make a difference. Not sure how long it wll take him to work out Bradshaw and Watkins aren't a front two that works.

Everyone calm down dont worry Hemsy is here to point out all of Heckys faults for him and pick the teams because we all know he knows better than the professional head coach

Poor responses to someone who cares and in his own way is trying to make a critical appraisal.

With Wilson it was 'the manager'... It's in keeping with Phil's profile, classic in it's own way.. :D

Have you seen any of Phil's 'critical appraisals'? He's a blummin bully... The opening post was just him finding his range... :D

It's what happens on here oxred.

People don't like it when you comment on certain members of the Barnsley players or staff.

Saying that I'm not really too fussed what people think. He's admit he got it wrong after the game. That's why he changed things. Hopefully the same mistake doesn't happen on deepdale in 3 weeks time

What did you think of Bree today ht? Had an absolute stinker in my opinion, should have been subbed 20 minutes before he was.

Didn't see a lot wrong. Not sure why he was subbed. Maybe a fitness issue. Him and Kent look fine to me.

Which leads me onto another thing.

Why doesn't PH ever take Hammill off. Why not keep Kent on? He really can trouble any team.

He's hardly a bully. Attention seeker maybe. OK, definitely maybe . You crack on though Hemsy. Your thought provoking opinions are not always as left field as some might think.

Hecky new target. You watch. Free hit for me this season, don't care if we get relegated. I love our club again.

I remember going to the old Leeds Road ground in the early eighties (80-81ish) . We were trying to beat our longest unbeaten run EVER. We took thousands.....28000+ crowd if I remember right (3rd div) We lost . I was miserable. We ended up promoted. We moaned about players then too ;)
