We have enough batting to win this if one of them can support lyth through to the end

I'd rather we picked the players who gut us there.

why on earth did root try and hit every ball out of the ground with so many overs left?

    that's cost the game...

Root, Bairstow and Ballance bottled it.

Willey getting crocked didn't help but since they have been back the other England lads haven't been exactly prolific

Bad call to bring all three back in . Bairstow missed a simple stumping at a crucial time and Joe Root , although I love him to bits played like it was a Sunday club match . The lads who got left out after doing all the spade work to get to the final should be fuming .

Yes def a bad call to pick your three best players. Remind them not to do that as often as possible

Knew we shouldn't have messed about with a settled side. Dizzy bottled it.

This with bells on. They nearly messed the game up on Thursday too. The other lads return to the 1 day semi, but only because the so called big boys go to England.

So you reckon Ballance is one of the the best three t20 players? Really ? . Root is desperate for a rest physically and mentally so this would have been the perfect opportunity. Bairstow is a brilliant batter but he isn't Yorkshires best stumper never mind England's.

I don't have to reckon. Jason Gillespie did. You were doing so well until you mentioned that we should "rest" England's best batsman on finals day and suggested Andy Hodd should have played. All a bit bonkers really and I don't even like, nay I couldn't care less for T20!!

Or we could appreciate the sheer class of Mark Wood?

After starting the competition poorly we ended up a form side with momentum only to ruin it by dropping good lads for fellas hardly ever around and it's ended up costing us today.
