Well Jeremy certainly isn't. Giving up or talking to himself. As I witnessed tonight. People can disagree with him politically, or with the direction of the party. But no-one can deny the increasingly enormous support he has nationally. Underestimate that at your peril, I'd say. There's little wonder so many are trying to cut him down. He's a serious danger to the established hierarchy.
No correlation between the (increased) party membership and the number of votes he'll need in a general election to even be relevant. Labour under Corbyn are going to get wiped out, and in doing so hand the tories a majority that will enable them to achieve anything they want. He's probably also going to hand UKIP a fair number of seats too. That's why the Blairite arm (the ones who understand what it might take for Labour to be seriously considered as electable) are trying to depose him. To the right, he's the gift that keeps on giving.
Why? I have no dramatic statements to refer back to!! Apart from when I said the Reds will win the league 10 points above Newcastle. That might come back to bite me in the arse..
i will give you a reality check......i was at the rally tonight and i can honestly say that the man spoke with conviction spoke from the heart he told it how it is and explained his ideals from grass roots to the very top ...his words were in line with my believes and like he said you get it right at the grass roots and anything is possible...theres been an imbalance in this country for too many years, the attitude of im alright jack never mind the others needs to and has to stop ...he spoke a lot of sense,. My wife who is not political in any form or shape and will openly tell you that most of the time politics confuse her like it does many others attended tonight.. (she only attended to look after me due to my disability after my stroke earlier this year ) she turned to me after Corbyn had finished speaking and said ...wow that man really impressed me with what he said, he summed up the way i feel about whats taking place, he put it into words that i understood and i could feel honesty speaking from his heart ) she then followed it up by saying thats a man i could really vote for and i would be happy for him to represent me ..im really impressed ....she then said i think im going to make myself a member of the labour party he will make a great prime minister. i can tell you we have never clapped as much.... the man is a breath of fresh air may the peoples revolution begin After listening to him i can tell you this ....i understand why the Tory press and the Tory elite are running scared of the man....and why they give him so much abuse........ they know if he gets into power the change that will sweep this country for the better will be be for the masses and not for the few... a lot of work still to be done but boy what a man and a honest passionate man at that.... all i ask is that you stop listening to the media spin and their lies and give him a chance
if i can figure it out how to post photos on here i will post the photos ( sunday ) that i took at the rally...got some good shots.....lol...there were that many taking photos of the crowd i took a few of the photographers ...lol...you never know who you may catch on camera...lol
"What about animal rights, Jez?" Called I, quietly. He did the enviroment. But the best line came from an old NUM veteran, when he compared Orgreave to current Tory wildlife policy. Which I think I like...
You are taking political inspiration from Stalin? Any Hitler quotes you wanna throw in? What did Pol Pot have to say? Any gems from Genghis Khan?
