Let me start by saying that I'm definitely not once of those people who slags off everything the club does. However, the level of written English on the Official Site is so bad as to be embarrassing. At best it reads like it's written by an over-enthusiastic teenager, with match reports so biased they are cringeworthy, and unnecessary exclamation marks littering the page. The worst parts contain elementary grammatical errors, and often don't make sense. Maybe I'm being pedantic, but it just feels completely amateurish. I know that Rob Knowles rubbed a few people up the wrong way, but at least he was literate. Surely it can't be that difficult to find someone with a basic knowledge of English style and grammar rules, and the ability to use a spellcheck before publishing. Rant over.

I was with you up to "cringeworthy". I hate that word with a passion along with "Yuk" , "Meh" and others. I also thought Rob Knowles got regularly slated for his use of English.

He did. And for his overuse of the exclamation mark. And for his biased reports.

    Is he back?

In fairness, I struggle when people say 'cringe' instead of 'cringeworthy'.

Not to mention shopping us to the FL legal team when someone on here had the nerve to post a link to a site showing fixtures before they were officially released

    *waves*

In hindsight, I deserved what I got. I was a cocky little so-and-so who had no respect for any boundaries.

Still, I was delighted when he (Rob Knowles) lost his job, too, and I continue to wish him Sheffield United-levels of misfortune.

I only used "cringeworthy" in order to avoid repeating the word "embarrassing". I'm not even sure that it's a real word, come to think of it. Maybe I should replace it with "meh-inducing"?

I only read it once and I spotted it. The way you quoted it with the random A makes it look like there are two errors but I can only find one in the original post.

Did you think 'that whitey lad has stopped doing personal blogs and said he's going to get paid for writing in future. Oh and he's stopped posting on here and made a new account YTBFC and he's changed his Twitter handle to andywhitebfc and said it's because of his new career.

I reckon rob Knowles is back doing them, it's the only explanation

I didn't notice the other bits. But thought the vids had a touch of his skills.

However his last day in his current job wad today I believe which I thought rules it out.

    I often do 2x2 = 10.

But if he is. Good luck to him it's a great move by both club and him. But just speculation on my part tbh
