Tonight we fielded a team who 2 seasons ago were plying there trade in league 2, non league and fringe academy players.....and not 1 player looked out of place! QPR are a good organised team but we could've played till midnight and they wouldn't have scored from open play.

We're all on a high from last season and we've certainly hit the ground running but this team is something special.

If we lost Mawson or Hourainne I honestly think these 2 players are irreplaceable with what fees they would fetch us....a suppose while ever we keep winning theh why jump ship?

Who would've thought last December when we were bottom...........??

If Carling did football dreams eh!

and a manager with very little management experience - Hecky might be our biggest loss if he keeps this up

The sigh of relief will be felt all over Barnsley when the transfer deadline comes - the trouble with that is if anything happens on the final day, no chance to replace.

Mawson is definitely the worrying one, Hourihane is a pretty special player but the top end Championship clubs where you'd expect him to be wanted already have that kind of player so I can't see him leaving.
