Makes this result all the more sweeter.
We bossed the first half, but they turned it on in style the 2nd half.
Roberts had a lapse in concentration to concede the penalty, and I thought the 2nd penalty decision was quite harsh, but it didn't matter because we proper dug in and got our rewards!

This TEAM is just something else, who knows where we will end up provided we keep them together past the transfer window.

Kent is a class above and will definitely make the Liverpool side next season, the type of player Klopp will want in his high pressing side.

Our full backs were superb, particularly Aidy White, who links up well with Hammill.

Hourihane is unstoppable at present and will definitely be attracting attention so hopefully we can hold out.

    Roll on Huddersfield!

I didn't think QPR were that good at all tbh and it would have been a travesty if they'd have taken even a point from tonight's game! They haven't scored from open play all season! I think both penalties were probably right decisions (we need to learn quickly as that's 3 penalties we've given away in only 3 league games) but apart from that free kick that hit the thr bar I don't remember them troubling Davies at all!

If we're going into January in the same position we're in now, I'd hope nobody would want to leave.

First half I think QPR were a one trick pony. Barnsleys defensive strategy and pressing gave them no chance. We were outstanding.

They had 2 shots on target. The 2 penalties

They passed it around nicely but only in less dangerous areas, obviously they won't get relegated but I'd be shocked if they end up promoted.

I thought they were a good side but we were better, we worked harder and deserved to win the game. We shouldn't fear anyone at the minute.

They were a well drilled side, very organised, better than Derby, so again just shows how good this result is.
Sets Saturday up to be a top game.

apparently all the radio and sky sports updates said wed been the better team and had deserved a draw at least. and in fairness, Qpr couldnt have too many complaints about losing actually.

thats really good to hear instead of the usual garbage we get from these people.

They had a spell in the 2nd half. First 15 minutes or so.

Having watched the highlights, I thought the 2 penalties were correct, although for the first one, the guy is falling for about 15 yards before he lands inside the box.

I thought we bossed the game for the majority, and limited them to speculative efforts. Davies barely had a save to make all night and I feel the win could have been much more comfortable had we not given 2 penalties away.

Bringing Payne on was a good move from Hecky. He added a bit more steel up top which stopped the ball coming back as much. When Watkins went off for D'Almeida, Scowen was given a bit more freedom to push on which I think he is probably best at despite rarely being given that role. As such it turned out to be a masterstroke as the picky little nuisance that he is, won the ball in a dangerous area and he managed to get on a return ball from Payne.

We were well worth the win, albeit we had to wait for it.

    This team can go far.

davis didn't touch the ball till 24th minute. they looked dangerous for a while 2nd half but apart from that they were only going sideways. great performance all round. . connor was class. best player in years

I felt they were a very well organised side. Despite us playing the better football & seemingly 'wanting it' more than them we struggled to create chances like we did against Derby.

They then found a tactic that worked with the balls up to Polter as the referee was letting pretty much anything go but then Hecky went & brought Sessi on which completely killed off that ball to Polter & allowed us to get back in control & eventually win the game
