Is a racist and sexist, homophobe. Allegedly. Edit: add anti-semetic on to the list. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28860902 Full Daily Mail article here
Not condoning this but more bizarre footy world stuff, and yet Ched Evans can gainfully regain employment.
So Cardiff are complaining About loutish, racist, offensive behaviour ? The definition of irony is going to have to be looked at.
Re: So Cardiff are complaining Seems alot of people were wrong then to give Vincent Tan stick for sacking him. Even though their form was ****, he mentioned in press conferences needing new players even though the owner had told him no money was available (thus trying to force the owners hand), signing a player for like 12 million not playing him before selling him on at a huge loss, and now this coming out.
Re: So Cardiff are complaining Cardiff aren't complaining at all, they're quite rightly reporting the wrongdoings - guess that doesn't suit your agenda though, eh? No surprise there.
Re: So Cardiff are complaining We'll probably never find out who the whistleblower is. But we should be thanking them. Then absolutely hammering the guilty parties - if they are found to be guilty
Re: So Cardiff are complaining As I've mentioned on here before, it was what was going on in the background that was their undoing. The "painter & decorator" appointed in place of Moody was in fact an IT whizz kid who'd been looking into him (Moody) & his dealings for months. MM was known as "Milky" by players due to the clauses he'd inserted Ito contracts. It was argued that the CEO would have to sign off all deals - but there"s now talk that not all paperwork was presented for signing. Tan had always said that the truth would come out eventually - and boy has it come out! He's had London lawyers working on this for 7 months, hence the delay. Bet there's a few agents looking nervously at this as well after they were involved in these shady dealings. The club are withholding £3m in fees to them apparently. The biggest clue in all this was when MM suddenly dropped his £7.5m compensation claim - and gave an unreserved apology. Moody's resignation today also tells a tale. All of this obviously comes with the "allegedly" caveat btw, for obvious reasons. And that"s barely even referring to the racism!
Re: So Cardiff are complaining My 'agenda' ? Having borne witness to Cardiff fans abusing Barnsley fans for being English - and using language to back that up at women & minors beyond the pale (English slags' as one example), having seen them spit on women & children - and grown men, there was no discrimination there to be fair, kick and punch younger fans wearing Barnsley shirts who weren't anywhere near being able to retaliate in kind, I have a view. If you consider that be an agenda be my guest.
Re: So Cardiff are complaining Don't think there's any doubt whatsoever who's the whistleblower - it'll be Tan. As I mentioned in another reply, he had Moody shadowed for months (and his IT checked). He asked MM to resign based on the findings - who refused. He then had specialist lawyers investigate for 7 months before producing the dossier. He may seem barking mad but he's clearly not daft
Re: So Cardiff are complaining It's a good job that we"re never treated in exactly the same way by English fans eh? I've personally been physically attacked at too many grounds to mention & had blades pulled on me at two places (Newcastle & West Ham). Do I bear a grudge with them, no. But then I'm not one to generalise and tar everyone with the same brush.
Re: So Cardiff are complaining Cardiff City fans are the worst I've seen. On balance Mackay and Cardiff deserve each other.
Re: So Cardiff are complaining That is mad, granted. But, it was reluctantly accepted after he'd promised to turn the massive debt (£100m+ at the time) into equity. Since that didn't & hasn't happened, red has been virtually wiped out by the fans at games. Tan has also said that he'd "consider" a return to blue if we get promoted and, trust me, that's a big u-turn from him, the type he doesn't usually consider in his normal business life. We'll see.
Re: So Cardiff are complaining interesting stuff. i just hope the truth comes out, and isn't just swept under the carpet in some confidentiality agreement with Tan
